¶ Schooling
When young Conner was a 7 his father (Duke Malcom Silverridge) sent him off to a boarding school in Icehaven. While he was there he was picked on for being smaller than some of the other boys. One day when he was running from the bullies, he ran into a older boy Steven Butler. Seven protected him that day and they became good friends, almost like the older brother Conner never had. He stayed in school until he was 19. One of the rumors of why he returned then was that he was overspending his allowance at the famous Guild of Silk in Icehaven.
¶ Adventures to the Mikado Empire
He returned to Windbreak with Steven Butler, for a few years before he disobeyed Duke Malcom Silverridge and joined a group of Clappers that were going to harass Mikado holdings in the islands to the south. Conner there truly became a man, he was seen as a leader of the group, even as they picked up more troops. Throughout the expedition his tactics and strategies kept him and his cadre safe.
The Mikado Emperor was not going to have his trade reduced by some upstart Bellringer, and he put out a bounty on Connor. At first the cadre was worried but it seemed the propaganda was more helpful to them as their numbers grew. Little did he realize that Timothy Bunch, a simple deckhand was actually a Mikado assassin. Months past without anyone knowing, all in till the fateful night where he and Conner where alone on deck. Timothy Bunch stabbed Conner in his kidney, a slice up his back and the final one though his shoulder, before he jumped overboard and escaped.
Steven Butler, was awoken by the calls of the crew that the Captain was dead. When Steven arrived though while Connor was gravely wounded he was still alive. They set sail right back to Windbreak. By the time they arrived Connor was in a coma, the blood had turned and his fever would not break. He was rushed from the ships to Windbreak Keep where he was treated by Bruce Ulman and his nurse Octavia Mattix.

For saving his son Steven Butler was offered anything in Duke Malcom Silverridge's power. Few in court realized that he already had grown a love for Connor's sister Sharon Butler~Silverridge and he asked for her hand.
They both stayed in Windbreak until Conner was able to walk 3 years later and by that time, Octavia was already showing her upcoming birth. Malcom Silverridge sent Octavia Mattix to Deerholt to have her child (Caden Mattix), while he sent out invitations to all the eligible noblewomen he could. Over the next 2 years banquet followed ball, followed tournament, followed banquet. While many ladies from distant lands came courting, Conner was finally swept up by a young girl from House MacBavo. Merida married Connor later that year.
While they tried to have children, Merida Silverridge had 2 miscarriages before their first Carrick Silverridge was born.
