¶ History:The founder of House Whitestar is believed to have been called Angus. Angus and his people lived in a domain called the [[Land of Fire and Flowers]]. But they were not alone in this paradise, the land was also occupied by a colossus called the Maw that lived under the ground. The Maw attacked many of the hamlets of the Land of Fire and Flowers. The people begged Angus and his shield warriors to free them of the terror the Maw caused. During the assault, the Maw swallowed the party. This did not stop them though. They fought through the Maw, and inside it's body it expanded to a whole new world covered in inky blackness. In the darkness their fire hair glowed giving them the ability to see and fight back from the creatures that assaulted them. These conflicts lasted decades until a fateful day. They finally had fought their way to the Maw's heart. After Angus stabbed the heart with his great ax, the blood of the creature poured from the wound coming faster and faster until it became a flood. The blood of the Maw pushed them though the caverns until they were spit out of a wound of the Maw into a land they did not know. This land of snow and ice, we now would call "The Land of Earth and Water" or in a more current parlance, the Belllands. They built settlements in the northeast hugging the rivers and the sea. They worked on making families, hoping that the terror of their time in the Maw would pass as generations where born. For centuries they had found peace eventually meeting and creating a trade pact with the Enisen Kings. In 240 S.E. Ethan Sedi, had a council with the Ferdor Tribes to enlist them in the wars vs the Enisen Kings. He said that he had been told by the Bellringer that the children of Angus were a blessed people. If they called out to the Bellringer he would answer. He gave them a secret cantillation of the Bellringers name. Their Chiefin Uthar made a deal with Ethan, if his people converted to the Bellringer they would aid him. If they did not, they would aid the Enisen Kings to destroy the Bellringers. Ethan took the deal, Uthar spoke the words, as the stars shined as he spoke, responding to the sounds. All of the now "House Whitestar" converted to the Bellringer faith and joined House Sedi's armies. With the light of the Bellringer behind them, they grew in to the great warrior house they are to this day. |
